Always take the scenic route

Life is short, take the long way.

I made this sign for me, really, but perhaps someone else would like it too. I love taking the scenic route. There’s nothing better than a winding road lined with trees and wildflowers. Where I live, once you leave town you drive through the countryside until you come to another town.  That is, if you stay off the highway. Of course this isn’t a literal reminder for driving instructions, but a metaphor that will also remind me to pause, reflect and soak in life as much as possible.
